Prime Minister and Defense Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, this morning (Tuesday, 25 June 2019), dedicated the “Our IDF” exhibit in Jerusalem pursuant to the Cabinet decision to move the exhibit to Jerusalem.

Prime Minister Netanyahu said after touring the exhibit: “I have just come from an historic event, the first meeting of the national security advisers of Israel, the US and Russia. There has never been such a thing. This meeting attests to Israel’s strong international standing".

"We are discussing many issuesת but Syria and Iran first and foremost. We are determined to remove Iran from Syria. The two superpowers, together with Israel, agree that we must aspire to the goal in which all foreign forces that have entered Syria since 2011 leave Syria. This is a good decision. This will be followed up and the issue will also be discussed between Presidents Trump and Putin. I hope that the continuation will be in Israel soon because we have a goal that we want to achieve in order to add to the security and stability of the region and to the security of the State of Israel".

One of the reasons why the superpowers are coming here, you see in this hall. Of course, it is the human, technological, command and combat strength of the IDF. In effect, this strength is the basis of our lives.

I am pleased that we decided to bring the exhibit from Holon to Jerusalem. It is proper that it be in the capital of Israel and – first of all – in the State of Israel. I already discussed with the mayor and Chief-of-Staff, in the few minutes we had here before entering the exhibit, that this must become a permanent exhibit. I think that every boy and girl in Israel should come here, to be inspired and, of course, become familiar the IDF, which is what separates between the fate of our people in the past and in the present and future.”
