Tal Mor - Solo Exhibition: "Symphony of Colors" now presented in Campus Discount, 1 Discount Street, 1000 District, Rishon LeZion. Curator: Shulamit Nuss
The exhibition is an invitation into a world of colors, dreams, and landscapes, viewed from fresh and surprising perspectives. Tal Mor, a fine art photographer, brings his personal experiences, global travels, and unique worldview into works that radiate joy, freedom, and optimism.
For most of his adult life, Tal lived in Amsterdam, where he worked in high-tech, studied filmmaking, and created short films that were featured in international festivals.
Tal studied at academic institutions in Israel and across Europe. Throughout his career as an entrepreneur and artist, Tal delved into and expanded his expertise in photography, cinematography, video editing, graphic design, visual effects, and fashion photography. As a self-taught creator, Tal continuously explores and learns, combining traditional techniques with technological innovation.
All these experiences culminated in his true passion: fine art photography. His works in the exhibition offer a combination of breathtaking landscapes from around the world— alongside playful and colorful creations from his inflatable pool float series.
While his beach photography often resonates with the style of Bruegel—offering intricate compositions filled with countless characters and details, inviting hours of exploration - his inflatable series connects with the childlike spirit of Jeff Koons and the whimsy of pop-art balloons. Every pose, every float, is a reminder to let go, relax, and embrace the beauty of the present moment.
Tal’s works take on a nostalgic perspective, a return to naive and pure times before the world became so complex and noisy. The vibrant colors evoke memories of childhood, endless summers, and pure joy. It’s a magical celebration of color and delight.
His photography is characterized by imagery drawn from the realms of freedom, leisure, and escapism, utilizing bold colors, repetition, strong lines, and unique textures to create a "larger-than-life" effect.
Tal aspires to create art that speaks to everyone—art that is simply a pleasure to look at or even just pass by to absorb a brief moment of joy throughout the day. As he describes: "In recent years, I’ve been focusing on drone photography, driven by my love for capturing the world from new perspectives. In my work, I explore diverse landscapes from around the globe, such as the incense fields of Vietnam, the Tulip fields of the Netherlands, the floating markets of Thailand, and the textured patterns of beachgoers on shorelines worldwide.
Each of these places offers a unique visual experience, where I find abstract compositions that combine captivating colors, lines, and textures. For me, these moments of simplicity, freedom, and vivid colors enrich daily life and inspire me to create images that I enjoy, and that I would be happy to hang on my own walls.
My photographs are an invitation for viewers to reconnect with the innocence and joy of childhood, reminding us of times when everything felt simpler and more beautiful.
There is also something childlike, naive, and pure within me—a connection to curiosity, simplicity, and an authenticity, free of pretenses or artificiality. Similarly, my artistic creations, with their bold colors and playful spirit, invite the viewer into a world of childlike joy, freedom, and optimism.
For me, the greatest satisfaction is knowing that my images impact others, bringing joy, positive energy and optimism into private spaces and workplaces, while offering a window into a rich and inspiring world."
Tal’s works, positioned at the intersection of art and nostalgia, offer a moment of colorful escapism. They transport the viewer into a world of colors and happiness, serving as a reminder of our ability to pause, reflect, and find beauty within ourselves and the world around us.
Through his art, Tal captures attention and offers a fresh perspective on life, inviting viewers into a "cabinet of wonders" for a few hours of hope, self-embrace, and boundless passion for life.
