"Helping Hand Coalition" Extends its activities for Holocaust survivors throughout the country

Helping Hand Coalition is an organization that works to help holocaust survivors throughout Israel in a variety of activities.

 

Thousands of Holocaust survivors visit the villa in Caesarea every month and participate in cultural activities, workshops and music there and throughout the country, in addition to hot meals and humanitarian assistance offered by Helping Hand Coalition, the organization offers other Holocaust survivors the benefit of its services and varied activities.

 

Helping Hand Coalition is an organization that works to help holocaust survivors throughout Israel in a variety of activities and means, including a hot homes project that operates in 25 local authorities and enables Holocaust survivors to enjoy a hot meal and social meeting, import of containers with clothing items distributed free of charge to Holocaust survivors, documentation of the memories of Holocaust survivors, medical aid, Bar Mitzvah celebrations for Holocaust survivors who did not celebrate this as a children, assistance and participation in the March of the Living, a project to assist lone soldiers in the IDF in the north and many other projects.

 

Helping Hand Coalition operates for many years from "Beit Shalom" - a beautiful villa in Caesarea designed for the welfare of Holocaust survivors only. The impressive villa serves as a meeting place for Holocaust survivors and many activities like lectures, workshops, classes and study meetings, art performances, music and culture throughout the year for tens of thousands of Holocaust survivors living throughout Israel.

 

The organization was founded by Philanthropist and businessman Andrei Geshiorovsky, and his son Luke Geshiorovsky is responsible for the day-to-day management. Together with a dedicated staff they work all the year in Caesarea and across the country in a variety of projects that advance assistance to Holocaust survivors living in Israel.

 

Helping Hand Coalition is an example of a modest and important social activity, a non-profit organization that works in cooperation with government ministries and other aid organizations, especially in humanitarian cases of Holocaust survivors living with us and among us.

 

The organization has recently decided to expose its activities in order to enable other Holocaust survivors living throughout Israel to enjoy its varied services and to improve the quality of life of survivors of the Holocaust at their adult age, both in their home country and in the Caesarea home.
